Command-line system management tools

The Pega Platform includes the following command-line tools:

• prpcUtils: Use the prpcUtils tool if you have a direct connection to the database even if you do not have an active instance of the Pega Platform.
• prpcServiceUtils: Use the service-enabled prpcServiceUtils tool when you do not have a direct connection to the database, such as in a Cloud environment. The prpcServiceUtils tool uses a REST connection and an active instance of the Pega Platform. Service-enabled system management allows asynchronous workflows and faster operations. You can also use a connection property file to specify multiple target systems.
